Wookie

Wookie has come a long way and continues to make incredible progress every day. Once known for her talent of escaping and destroying kennels, she has worked hard and is now doing wonderfully in her kennel. While she may still need a little understanding and patience as she settles into a new environment, she's proving just how much she can grow when given the chance.

This sweet husky/collie/shepherd mix is a laid-back girl with a gentle soul. She can be a bit timid at first, but once she feels comfortable, she's happiest curled up on the couch beside you, chewing on her favorite bone and enjoying a quiet evening. Her confidence continues to build every day, and it's been amazing to watch her come out of her shell.

Wookie does have a mischievous side—if given the opportunity, she may go on a nighttime treasure hunt and find something to chew that isn't hers! Because of this, supervision and appropriate chew toys are important while she continues learning good habits.

Wookie is looking for a patient family that will help her continue building confidence and show her that the world isn't such a scary place. In return, you'll gain a loyal companion who is blossoming into a wonderful dog.
