Whitetail

Whitetail is an approximately 4-year-old Shepherd cross who has spent far too long being a hardworking mama. Now that her puppies are growing up, it’s finally her turn to find herself, enjoy life, and learn what it means to simply be a dog. 🥹
Just this week, Whitetail finally had enough energy to start playing with balls — and seeing that playful side of her begin to emerge has been so special. 🎾❤️
Whitetail is an absolute sweetheart with people and has been wonderful with the kids in her foster home, who range from 10–16 years old. She can also do well with other dogs, as long as they’re respectful of her boundaries and give her the space she needs.
She does have a strong prey drive, so a home without cats would be best. She’s also very interested in chasing horses, so a home where she won’t have access to livestock would be the safest fit.
After spending so much of her life caring for puppies, Whitetail deserves a home where someone will care for her. A place where she can get spayed, leave motherhood behind for good, and spend the rest of her life discovering all the fun things she’s been missing. 🤍
