Tator

She LOVES people, gentle pets, hugs, and of course… FOOD! 😂 She is very food motivated and is already learning to wait patiently for her meals, making her eager to learn and continue her training.
Tator has recently discovered how much fun playing can be! She loves chasing her foster family's Black Lab around the yard and would love a home with a playful dog around her size who can keep up with her energy.
She has fantastic leash manners for such a young pup and walks nicely beside her foster mom. However, when she spots a bird, squirrel, or something small, her prey drive kicks in and things can get a little exciting! Thankfully, she responds well to a quick correction and is able to refocus.
Like any 8-month-old puppy, Tator is curious and sometimes gets herself into a little mischief. If there's an open bedroom door, those stuffed animals might suddenly become very interesting! 😆 A good chew bone is usually a much better choice.
Tator is affectionate, playful, smart, food motivated, and eager to learn. She loves her foster family, but her high puppy energy isn't the best match for the smaller dog in the home who needs more rest.
🏡 We're looking for a forever home where Tator can have an active lifestyle, continued training, lots of love, and ideally a playful dog around her size.
She's still learning, but she's already showing what a wonderful companion she can become. ❤️🐾
