Description
Savanah is still in search of her forever family and has made so much progress! She can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but is approaching them on her own, being less timid, and is getting very comfortable with men being around, which is something she previous was not a fan of. She loves to run whether it be in a field, playing fetch, or on leash, her favorite is being chased by other dogs. She would do best in an area when she has the space to do this, and express her personality, like an acreage or a large backyard. Once she warms up to you is very outgoing, affectionate, and fun. She also loves to chew, she can spend her day relaxing, entertaining herself with a bone or a chew toy, or even cuddled up next to you on the lazy days. She would do best in a home with other confident dogs as it makes her feel more safe, you can hardly tell she’s even nervous when she has other dogs to gage the situation off of, if they are good, she is good. She has done good around all male dogs she’s met, but has been a little selective with the females. We only know 2 other female dogs and she does not get along with one of them, so it’s hard to tell where she stands overall. She is good with cats, and would be good with children who understand that she’s a little nervous at first.
She is fully kennel trained, fully house trained, fully leash trained, and mostly recall trained. She also has never left the permitter our acreage. She has improved so much in such a short period of time, I can only image how perfect she’ll be in the future with consistent progress and training! She truly is a great dog!
