Meet Roscoe! Or as my kids call him, “Roscoe Boscoe”, “Roscoe the House Hippo” or “Biggie”.
Roscoe’s main goal in life is to be loved and follow his human around. He loves belly scratches. Loves head pats. Loves long cuddles and short walks. And most of all he loves to be reassured he’s the goodest boy out there. Don’t let his size fool you, he assures us he is indeed a lap dog.
Roscoe is great on the leash.
In fact when another dog barks he stands there and looks at them to ask “what are we barking about?” We have yet to hear him bark! He is great with kids, and is trying so hard to be friends with our cat. In fact when the kids leave he paces the house a bit looking for them! His recall is ok, I think with more training and a stronger bond it would be wonderful.
Roscoe does not like to go in a kennel. But he has been out in our home and been fine.
He is potty trained. As long as you take him out, however he doesn’t always notify you he needs to go out. Again with consistent routines I think this guy would flourish.
