At 6 months old, Rocky is a handsome young gentleman with a sweet, easygoing nature. He’s a low-key kind of guy who enjoys taking life at his own pace, observing the world around him, and spending quality time with his people.

Rocky is food motivated, making treats a great way to build a bond and help him learn. While he’s fairly independent, he appreciates having his people nearby.

Rocky will need a patient family who understands that he may take longer than most dogs to decompress and feel comfortable in a new home. Having a cozy spot of his own helps him feel secure, and a friendly canine companion would be a huge bonus, as he gains confidence much faster with a dog buddy by his side.

Once Rocky settles in, his playful side begins to shine, and watching his confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. He may not show you everything he has to offer on day one, but with time, love, and patience, he’ll blossom into a wonderful companion.
