Renny

Description

Renny has come such a long way. He's no longer the shy, nervous boy he once was and has grown into a dog with an amazing personality. He's affectionate, easygoing, and happiest hanging out with his people or relaxing on the couch.
A few things to know about him:
🐾 Tripod – don't let it fool you, he gets around just fine!
🐾 House trained. He did have some territory marking in the past, so he may need a few reminders in a new home, but he's always picked it back up quickly.
🐾 Very low-energy overall. He'll have a minute of hilarious zoomies, then he's content to nap the rest of the day.
🐾 Extremely well behaved in the house. He can be left with other dogs and won't get into the garbage, chew furniture, or be destructive.
🐾 Great with other dogs and has been kenneled and housed in outdoor runs with them without issues.
🐾 Has lived with a cat and has never shown aggression toward it.
He does have a few important needs:
• He has a strong prey drive that can appear unexpectedly, and he has gone after chickens in the past. Because of this, a home without poultry or other small livestock is best.
• He has significant separation anxiety if he's away from other dogs. He's happiest in a home with another friendly dog and can become very distressed if left completely alone. If isolated outdoors, he'll even try to chew through fencing just to be near another dog.
