Description
The basics: Female shepherd mix Dogs: yes (not tested with small dogs) Cats: no Kids: slow intros yes If those fit the bill keep reading! She's really loyal, and seeks treats with no problem! Her love of food and smarts is making training a breeze! She pees and poos nearly on command, and is getting used to going on a leash nicely. She's done extremely well with my two big dogs and infant, although she prefers no sudden movements. She is the sweetest most gentle girl. She loves her people and just wants to be near them. She settles easily even in a noisy environment, usually at my feet. Now to areas she is still learning. She does have a prey drive, so if a small animal runs she will chase it, but has also been around our cats before with no problem. If anything edible is left out she will find and devour it. She is thin and used to starving so it's understandable! She seems to have trauma around ropes and/or extension cords, so leashes are an ongoing slow process even though she walks well on a leash now. She's a cautious girl and lots of things scare her, so move slow and gain her trust and then she will cross the ocean if you ask her to. She's the best girl!
