🐾 Meet Poppi! 💕 — Your Next Four-Legged Family Member!
Meet Poppi, an adorable 8-month-old Border Collie/Heeler mix who has been an absolute joy to foster! Born January 1, 2026, this little girl is full of personality, intelligence and love. ❤️
Poppi is house trained and kennel trained, and she sleeps peacefully through the entire night in her kennel. She also loves her downtime and is just as happy relaxing with her people as she is getting out and playing.
She is spunky, energetic and incredibly smart. Poppi catches on quickly and listens very intently when you're talking to her. She loves playing fetch with a ball, chewing on squeaky toys and, of course, getting some good cuddle time in! 🥰
She walks beautifully on a leash and gets along well with other dogs. She hasn't been exposed to cats yet, so that would be something her new family would need to introduce carefully.
Like many herding breeds, Poppi has some natural herding instincts, including nipping, but this has been addressed promptly and consistently. She is currently working on learning not to jump up on people, and she's making good progress.
Poppi would thrive with an active family who has the time, patience and attention to keep her busy and continue her training. She has so much potential and is going to make a wonderful companion for the right family.
She is playful, affectionate, clever, curious and just plain fun. 💕🐶
