If you're looking for a goofy, adventurous best friend, Peaches is ready to steal your heart!

This beautiful 1-year-old Shepherd mix is the perfect combination of playful energy and affectionate cuddles. She loves spending her days wrestling with her foster sisters, splashing in the water, and then curling up for a well-earned nap. If there's a kiddie pool nearby, you'll almost certainly find Peaches happily lounging in it—water is her absolute favorite!

Peaches is kennel trained and sees her kennel as her own little safe haven. She happily comes and goes throughout the day, making it a comfortable place to relax and unwind.

She's still building confidence with walking on a leash, so she'll need a patient family willing to continue her leash training and help her learn that adventures on a leash can be fun. With consistency and encouragement, she's sure to continue making great progress.

Peaches would thrive in a home with another playful dog to help keep her active and give her a canine companion to enjoy life with. She gets along well with both dogs and cats.

Like many dogs who may have experienced food insecurity, Peaches can be protective of her meals. She currently needs to be fed separately from other pets while she continues to learn that she'll always have enough to eat. With patience and routine, many dogs continue to improve in this area.

Peaches has all the makings of an incredibly loyal, loving companion. She's looking for a family that will embrace her silly personality, continue her training, and give her the forever home she deserves. While she hasn't been around children in her current foster home, her affectionate nature suggests she'd likely adore them with proper introductions.
