Oreo is an affectionate, people-focused girl who loves cuddles, pets, and simply being near her humans. She'll happily follow you from room to room and is always excited to spend time with her family. When you're away, she's content to relax in the house, watching for your return from the front window and greeting you at the door when you get home.

This sweet girl is fully house trained and has excellent house manners. Since coming into foster care, she has gained confidence and has even discovered the joy of toys! One of her favorite games is tossing her squeaky football down the stairs and racing after it again and again. 😆

Oreo is smart and eager to learn. She is working on commands such as sit, stay, and stop, and is making great progress with her manners. She has excellent recall within a secure yard and loves to stretch her legs during her famous zoomies! Because she's quick and can be a bit of an escape artist, a securely fenced yard is recommended.

While Oreo enjoys adventures, leash walks are still a work in progress. Busy city sounds and traffic can sometimes make her feel overstimulated, so she will benefit from a patient adopter who can continue building her confidence. She's also a little nervous on vehicle rides and would much rather be close to her person than riding in the back of the SUV.

Oreo loves treats and never misses a meal—she'll happily remind you when it's breakfast or supper time! 😄 She does well meeting new people and quickly wins hearts with her loving personality.

Oreo would do best as the only dog in the home. She has not been tested with cats or small children. She does enjoy chasing birds in the yard, so a home that understands her playful prey drive would be ideal.

Oreo's greatest joy is simply being loved, and she has so much love to give in return. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your biggest fan, Oreo is waiting to meet you. ❤️🐾
