Nelly 2.0

Since being rescued by this fantastic rescue and getting the chance to live in a real home with really loving foster parents I have learned to be a for real house dog.
It took me quite a long time to understand that humans are nice and caring. I’m sure attached to my human foster parents and though I’m comfortable loving just them, we have been working on learning to trust other humans too. It is a work in process but each day I’m getting less scared of new people and experiences. Though I sometimes still run from the hands that try to greet me 🙈I know it won’t take long for me to outgrow that habit. I prefer to come to you for pets and snuggles when I feel like I want them. I really love snuggles and will show you by giving so many kisses!!
I love all of the dogs in my foster home, big ones and small ones too. We play chase the ball and chase each other. I always win because I’m super fast and sneaky.
I sleep in the humans bed all night. I know to do bathroom business outside 👍🏻 so I’m not kennelled when left home alone.
So, if you have a bit of patience with me and give me time to get to know you, I promise I will become your best friend and stay loyal to you always.
