You have come so far. When we first met you were growling, barking, hiding in the corner because you were so scared. Fast forward to now, you are learning what love is💕

Midnight is great with other dogs. He loves to play, if they are interested, or happy to just cuddle up next to them and rest. He is not food or toy aggressive. He is also good with cats! He is really good on walks, doesn’t pull. He absolutely loves being outside, definitely one of his favourite things is just laying out on the deck. He doesn’t chew or wreck things in the house.

Midnight is SMART. We have been working on heel, sit, lie down and place. He would do best with someone that can give him mental and physical stimulation. He came from a hoarding situation of 54 dogs, it is obvious that he craves that mental stimulation and connection, along with getting out, exercising and stretching his long legs on a walk.

His separation anxiety - poor guy gets pretty upset when his people leave the house. Although he has not been destructive when we are home, I do not know if he would be if he was left out of the kennel when we are not home. So far he has been going in his kennel when we are not home with a treat. At night he sleeps in the living room on his bed and only whines if he needs to go outside.

Midnight would do best in a home with someone that is an experienced dog owner that can be around often for the first few weeks while he settles in. He would also likely do better somewhere he could have a dog friend, that is the one constant he has had in his life is always living with another dog. He deserves someone that can give him all the love he craves so badly… if I had the space, he would be staying right here. We have made great progress the time that I have had him. I have no doubt that he will be the most loyal and loving dog to whoever gets the pleasure of adopting this sweet boy.
