Meet Kristoff! 🐾
This big handsome German Shepherd is one giant goofy lovebug who just wants to be part of the crew!
Kristoff LOVES to play, whether it’s with other dogs, his toys, or his people. He’s medium to high energy, but he also knows how to settle down in the house and hang out when it’s time to relax.
He has been doing SO well off leash on the acreage. He sticks close to his crew and has shown no interest in wandering off. He’s also been great with the horses and has done well with my kids. Because Kristoff is a big, strong boy who doesn’t always realize just how big and strong he is, I would not recommend a home with babies or toddlers. We’re working hard on helping him learn some manners and understand his size 💙

He settles nicely in his kennel, although he may throw a little fit for the first couple of minutes. Once he settles, he’s good to go. He has a bed and toys in his kennel and hasn’t chewed them up at all!
We’re also working on his manners around food. He LOVES to eat and is learning that we sit and wait patiently while dinner is being put down. 😂
Kristoff does have some things he needs to work on. He can get pretty mouthy when he plays and, because he doesn’t quite understand the difference between playing and biting too hard, he can have a strong bite. We are actively working on this, but because of that, I would recommend an experienced household that is comfortable continuing his training and setting appropriate boundaries.
He gets along with all dogs, although he can come across as a little standoffish with bigger dogs, so proper introductions are important. Once he gets to know them, he’s ready to play!
Kristoff doesn’t need to be perfect, he just needs someone willing to put in the time, patience and training to help him become the best dog he can be. And underneath all that goofy, energetic German Shepherd personality is a REALLY good boy who loves his people and wants to be included 🥹
