Description

Jax is a very special boy looking for a very special forever home. Jax spent the first 5 months of his life trying to survive in a C CAN in the winters of Saskatchewan with his mom. When Jax came into care, he was terrified, shut down and semi feral. Jax has done the work, and every single day he shows progress. He should be in a home with other playful / high energy dogs of any size. Dogs are a comfort to him, and they allow him to learn and show his true self. He thrives off the energy and company of other dogs as they show him that life isn’t so scary. Jax needs a home that has patience and understanding of his past. He will take time to adjust to new humans, but once he does you will find him seeking pets and coming to cuddle on the couch. New things are scary to Jax, so exposing him and being patient is ideal for his success. Although life has been scary, he is the sweetest and most gentle soul. He loves fluffy beds and blankets, he loves toys of all sizes and varieties, and he loves to play with his doggo siblings. All. Day. Long. Jax is almost house trained and he does sometimes forget that outside time isn’t just for playing. He is working on his crate training and doing quite well as it seems to be a safe place for him, but as true husky nature he does give off a howl here and there.
