James is a sweet, affectionate boy who truly loves being with his people. Whether it's ear scratches, belly rubs, cuddling on the couch, or chasing around his favorite squeaky toy, he's happiest when he's spending time with those he loves.

He's doing wonderfully in his foster home. James settles quietly in his kennel for meals and bedtime without any fuss, has great house manners, and already comes inside when called. He's also a pleasure to walk thanks to his lovely leash manners.

One of James' best qualities is his friendly personality with other dogs. He absolutely loves having canine companions to play with and would thrive in a home with another playful pup.

James has also been introduced to cats. Like many young dogs, he's curious, but when the cats remain calm, he quickly loses interest and respectfully goes about his day.
