Description
Who remembers Izzy? To think she would not be here today if it wasn't for all of our wonderful supporters and her amazing foster mama. It's been over a year now since she came into care. She has made some slow good progress. Izzy is a very special girl who is ready to start the journey in finding a forever home. We are only accepting local applications for her at this time.
Izzy is about 1.5 years. She has come a long way since I first took her in as a foster, over a year ago. Izzy was found as a feral stray in a northern community. She had a metal ring around her neck which had given her severe cuts. It has taken Izzy a long time to get used to humans . She is a beautiful dog that loves all other dogs. Izzy would do best in a home with another young dog to play with and bond. She is indifferent to cats and children. She accepts treats and pets but is still very leary of humans. She is crate trained and house trained. She absolutely loves being outside. We have finally managed to get a collar on her and will be working on a leash next. If I didn’t already have 3 dogs of my own, I would adopt her. If you have patience and love to give, this could be the right dog for you.
