Heidi

Description

Heidi is a gentle, loyal girl with a big heart and even bigger love for her family. She has already shown natural protective instincts — she’ll climb the snow hill to scan the backyard and make sure her people (especially her favorite 4-year-old!) are safe.

Despite her guardian nature, Heidi is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She is fully potty trained and can be left loose in the garage when the family is away. She isn’t destructive at all — although she will lovingly pull her foster mom’s work boots into her bed for comfort, she never chews them 🥹.

Heidi enjoys chewing her bones, and balls are her absolute favorite toy. She does wonderfully with other dogs and currently lives with a foster puppy and two male dogs, getting along with everyone.

She also naturally respects boundaries and stays in the yard, making her an excellent candidate for an acreage or home with space where she can safely roam and keep watch.

Heidi is the full package — loyal, protective, gentle, and easygoing. She would make a fantastic addition to a home looking for a loving companion with guardian instincts.
