Ben

Ben, named after Gentle Ben, is a gentle giant. He very much adores outside time whether it’s to play or just lay in the snow watching the squirrels. Ben can take time to warm up but once he does he will show his playful side! He enjoys tug of war with his foster siblings and loves squeaky balls. He will play for a short time and then prefers to curl up to nap or watch tv.

He is fully house trained. He is currently not kennel trained but is trustworthy to leave in the house by himself. He can be hesitant and leading him with a leash where he needs to go is necessary until he feels comfortable. He enjoys the company of other dogs and cats although puppies can be a bit too much for him if he’s unable to get away to a safe space. He would likely be great with older children who know to give him space when he needs it.

Ben is a very calm dog who loves to be near his people but is independent enough to enjoy his downtime.
