Bearsy

Description

Here we have Bears/Bearsy… cute patootie, etc. He has a lot of nicknames we call him. He is super loving and loves his humans. He walks amazingly on his lead (we haven’t been able to get a collar or harness on him, but he’s been awesome on lead), and we go out about four times for strolls. He loves winter! His husky chat comes out now that he’s comfy with us, and often only when he’s being super goofy and telling you he loves you and is having fun. He doesn’t bark and doesn’t react to other dogs. He likes dogs smaller than him and is buddies with my small boy dog. He isn’t too fond of my small girl dog, and we think it’s just because she is his competition for toys. He does guard them, along with his bones. He sleeps well through the night and sleeps on the floor, then comes for snuggles in the morning until he gets too warm! He has not had any accidents in the house since his initial arrival. He loves his dog food and doesn’t like human food other than cheese. He knows a few tricks like sit and shake. He’s slowly learning his name and comes when called, as long as he isn’t busy wanting to chase rabbits. With good teaching, I think he’d have great recall and leave those bunnies alone. I have not taken him to the dog park as he does not have his shots and is not fixed yet. My cuddle bug has the softest fur where it counts for kisses on the head and playing with his ears or feet. He does have a war wound on his nose that appears as a scar now. It’s healed lovely since he came to live with me. This boy absolutely loves car rides and pup cups. He will now lay down outside the garage door when we come back from walks, as he knows the car is in there, lol. This boy knows what he likes!! The vet he did see feels he’s around 2 years of age. He can be quite the king of the castle, as he loves for you to just plop his bowl of kibble down between his front paws for him, and he shall enjoy it that way. He loves everyone and will greet others with kisses as he slides to the ground for belly rubs. And he can make anyone rub that belly! Everyone comments on his unique colours and how his need for belly rubs is so cute as he greets you on the street… mud or no mud, belly rubs are his love language.
