Aspen

Aspen came to me after living his life once a rope he came with no name only fear. I chose the name aspen because I feal he stood strong through the storm being the beginning of his life. Aspen was servely malnourished when he came to me and had the worst flea infestation i could imagine. This boy has come leaps and miles. After our first vet appointment and vaccines it was determined aspen is roughly 2 years old. Since then he has been fixed and it has been noted he may need dental work.He is a giant teddy bear and loves nothing more then to be close resting on or against his person. He loves the outdoors and likes to wander amd run around. He pulls on walks until he has deemed it is a far enough distance from the house to relieve himself. His pulling has gotten better but he has alot of excitement when it comes to going potty else where. He is finding his voice more and more every day. He asked to go outside or for attention by whining howling or scratching the doors. He is a gentle giant but is completly unaware of just how large he is therefor that can become an issue. Aspen can be a little picky when it comes to his food he prefers pork flavors and he prefers having some home made pork broth for his kibbles. He goes to the bathroom outside how ever does have accidents in the house still on occasion. He has not decide he enjoys toys yet but we are working on it. So far he seems to be perfectly fine with other animals hes been around my cats and dogs with no issues how ever at one point he did go to chase the cat but stopped upon correction. He is learning sit and lay down but its a very slow process how ever with time and effort I believe he could become the best boy. I believe he would do best with another dog to play with and a fenced yard with large fences as he seems to prefer a free lifestyle to our predetermined "areas".
