He’s such a good boy with the gentlest soul. He absolutely loves other dogs and follows Milo around everywhere, even imitating his behaviours, so having another calm, confident dog in the home would likely help him continue to build confidence. He’s incredibly smart already and responds very well to gentle correction — a soft touch on his paw and a quiet “no” is usually all he needs.

He’s doing wonderfully with house training, mostly peeing outside or using a pee pad, and consistently pooping outdoors. He has an exceptionally soft mouth and is so gentle by nature, which with continued positive training should make him a wonderful companion for respectful children.

While he’s still a bit nervous with touch and sudden handling, he’s making progress every day. His foster family has been working hard to help him build trust through gentle affection and reassurance. Despite his timidness, he follows his people everywhere and has already shown how deeply he can bond — even searching room to room when his foster disappeared from sight.

He sleeps quietly in his kennel through the night as long as it’s near his people, as comfort and reassurance help him feel safe. He already knows his name, loves every toy he can get his paws on, and eagerly finishes all his meals. He’s currently getting used to wearing a halter, though leash walking is still new and a little scary for him, so he’ll need patience and encouragement as he gains confidence.
