aka. Spicy Cali
Cali showed up to her fosters acreage with nothing but skin and bones. It took 5 days to catch her, but once she took her first steps indoors, we knew she was an indoor cat all her life.
Cali is a 9 year old gal with some spice to give. She will be the first to greet you at the door with loud purs and requests for those gentle pets. Cali finds comfort in laying next to you purring away and always wanting some affection. As much as she is friendly, she will always let you know when she has had enough attention. She will growl and hiss and ultimately remove herself from the situation if you do not respect her, “okay I’ve had enough” tells. With this, Cali would do best in a home that has older children who can respect these boundaries.
Cali currently has a foster feline sister who she can’t seem to get along with. Although she is not hurting the other feline, she would do best in a home that does not have other cats. Cali has 3 dogs she has been getting to know, although she will hiss to try and show who is boss, she seems to find comfort in their presence.
Cali spends her days napping in the closet or on the nearby chair. She's a grazer and will definitely meow at you when she’s wanting her bowl refilled!
